In 2009, we bought a 153 Hectre land for kick-starting the agro-allied aspect of the investment. However, this was cut short by logistic difficulties. A quarter of the available land was bought by a single individual. In 2007, the company thought of reviving Jita Farms and acquired a 53-Hectre of land.
Today, Jita Farms has acquired a bigger parcel of land for its operations in the year 2011. This land is situated along the Kaduna-Lagos Expressway and a lot of work is going on there. The long term plan is to set a pace in commercial agriculture, in tune with established standards in today’s world.
